Fishermen and Villagers Protesting in KudanKulam Nuclear plant!

Kundankulam: 4000 Villagers and Fishermen protesting in Kudankumlam on the sea shore at Kudankulam Nuclear Plant. The Nuclear Plat is located in Tamilnadu, Thirunalveli District, Kudankulam Seashore. Today loading fuel into Nuclear Plant. But Protesters gathered near sea shore where Kudankulam Nuclear Plant is 1.5km away.  The protesters are opposing this. Prohoboitory Oredres at Kudan kukam Nuclear plant and Kudankulam Protest site Police try to Crack Down the Protesters. Police fire Tear Gas Shells to disperse the Protesters at Sea shore. Protesters are rush into the sea after police fire tear gas shells.  Many people are jumped into Sea to escape from Tear Gas.

The Protesters are against to the Nuclear Plant that it should be Harmful to their  Lives and it could make their life hard to lead. The people will loose their business which is helping to earn and to get food. which makes spoil the Environment and make strive to live there. Today, fuel is to be loaded in the first of two 1,000 megawatt reactors, enabling it to start producing power. Which makes the coastal area and sea under radiation effect, people, animals and Bio sea will caught by huge deceases. The Government assurances about Security Measurement. But Activists have cited the Fukushima disaster in Japan, triggered by a tsunami last year, to draw parallels about the dangers of a nuclear plant in this coastal part of India.
